Review
Berlin-based artist Dana Ruh has marked another significant milestone with her release « Down Is The New Up » on her imprint Brouqade, released back in October 2023 (BQD048), a 12-inch vinyl EP showcasing her continued exploration of deep and tech house soundscapes, adding more layers to her already impressive discography that spans over more than fifteen years, and this one is now running low in stores.
This latest addition is doubtlessly keeping on the line of Brouqade hypnotic rhythms and sophisticated sound designs, and holds a particular place in its vinyl collection, in the sense it also highlights almost 50 releases curated ever since 2007 under the good cares of artists like Christopher Ledger, Giuliano Lomonte or Kamran Sadeghi among many more.
Moreover, the 49th piece of Brouqade collection has been granted by Kepler, who definitely shares the label’s focus on quality, capsing off a significant 2023 year vinyl wise by showcasing both its lifetime family of artists and its forward-looking curatorial vision together with emerging producers.
Discover it now at Deejay HERE or at your local record store.
