Review
Afterhours. is back with another gem, this time shining their spotlight on emerging Zurich-based talent Aron who never fails to mesmerize his audience’s ears, and « Limbic » is no exception, as it promises a soulful journey through the nuances of minimal dance music.
Aron is a fresh face in the electronic music scene, already present on labels like Berg Audio, Perceive or Bleu Ciel, he makes his debuts for UK label Afterhours pretty stunningly with this brand new release, in which Arno (also known as Einzelkind) reinterpreted eponymous « Limbic » blissfully. Indeed, Aron is creating tracks that are as much about the groove as they are about danceability, his approach towards music is balancing between the acoustic and the electronic, the structured and the chaotic, rendering impressively great creations each and every time.
His use of unconventional sounds and structures showcases a forward-thinking approach to minimal dance music, each track has been crafted with dancefloor in mind while making sure the music not only sounds intriguing but also feels right in a club setting. Arno, distinguishing himself within the music landscape for the last 20 years, especially for his work with the label Pressure Trax, has taken « Limbic » into another level with this relentless bassline and groove-centric perspective.
Discover it now at Deejay.de HERE or at your local record store, not only the music sounds gorgeous but moreover, it’s also about supporting new talent and embracing the evolution of dance music.
